Scholarships are awarded to meritorious and deserving students every year. Many rural students opt UVCE because its Govt Engineering college and fees are affordable. But even those fees are difficult to manage for few of them. So, we are raising money and awarding scholarships to these students in a planned manner. In the last 13 years, we have donated around 74Lakhs worth of Scholarships (650+) to more than 400 students of UVCE.

Endowments from classes will help in the long run. The interest generated from the funds kept in the form of Bank Deposits will be used for awarding ONE student every year. The alumni can mention their criteria or condition for the student to be selected. They can be part of the selection committee and interview the students applying for it. It will be named after the Class or any suggestion based on their ask. We have around 8 Endowments so far:

·      1971 Golden Jubilee Celebrations: TWO ENDOWMENTS (From 2021-22)

·      1973 ECE & EEE Golden Jubilee Celebrations: TWO ENDOWMENTS (Current year)

·      R M Vancheswara Iyer Memorial Scholarship: ONE ENDOWMENT (Current year)

·      1970 Batch: ONE ENDOWMENT (Current year)
